Internship at Dell

Stay humble and open minded: several managers and senior engineers often ask questions gently and patiently. They show an attitude of humble, curious, and open minded.

Communication: Through out the internship, communication accouts a large portion, that includes communicating with manager, mentors, vendors, team members, and more. I had a deeper understanding in the culture by having conversations with other team members. By having 1 on 1 with my manager, I understand the value of different role and the impact of a project from a leader's perspective. I also had a great opportunity to uderstand what other teams are working on from other interns.

Be proactive: I practiced a proactive attitude, which brought me several great opportunities. I had a chance to join a recent graduate event because of a conversation with a recent graduate. In the event, I learned more details of liquid cooling technology. I also expand my project with simulation analysis, which strengthen my skills in using Flotherm XT.
